Bi-District Battle: Sulphur Springs, Jacksonville clash Thursday

Nothing like taking on a bunch of Indians the first round of the playoffs to get the Wildcats pumped up for another postseason football run.

Sulphur Springs takes on Jacksonville Indians Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the Class 4A Division II playoffs set for Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium in Tyler.

The Indians lucked out on the travel time only needing to travel 30 miles to the stadium while Sulphur Springs is more than an hour or 60 miles away. But the neutral location was chosen and agreed on both coaches. The game had be played on Thursday night due to the popularity of the stadium which is booked on Friday.
