Registration of the Sulphur Springs Wildcats Pop Warner football team will be Saturday
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at city park.
The league is open to  players ages 5-12. Late registration will also be held at a time to be determined. Cheerleader registration will also be held.

North Hopkins
The North Hopkins Lady Panther basketball team is holding a car wash/bake sale to raise money for an upcoming camp.
The car wash/bake sale is 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fire Station No. 2 in Sulphur Springs on Bill Bradford Road.
The Lady Panthers will be attending a team basketball camp at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, July 7-9. Proceeds from the car wash and bake sale will be used to pay the entry fee, lodging and for meals.
The Lady Panthers received car wash supplies donated by O’Reilly’s with bottled water given by Grocery Supply.

Single frames cost bowlers chance at 300 games

The opening week of summer league play brought seven bowlers near to – but not quite reaching – perfection during the week ending June 2 at Classic Lanes.

Football time is just around the corner for a few select people  participating in the first Fellowship of Christian Athletes Heart of a Champion Bowl.
The game, featuring more than 80 of the best high school football players in the area, will be contested Saturday, June 11 at Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium in Tyler.
Admission is $5 to the game set to kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
