Lions stumble in 35-33 LSC playoff loss to Angelo State

    COMMERCE – Despite a 20-point fourth quarter effort and a 315-yard four-touchdown performance from quarterback Tyrik Rollison, No. 24 and No. 1 seed A&M-Commerce came up two points shy of No. 2 seed Angelo State in a 35-33 loss Saturday afternoon in the finale of the Lone Star Conference Playoff at Memorial Stadium.

    LINDALE — In some games you get a W for a win, other times you post a L for a loss. If you had to give the Sulphur Springs team a grade on their 52-47 loss to Ennis, it would have to be an E for effort.
    Not that moral victories or tremendous efforts count much when measured against the scoreboard. But they do the fans and coaches.
