‘Ties that Bind’ - Lone Star Heritage Quilt Guild Show set Sept. 19-20

    The 15th Annual Lone Star Heritage Quilt Guild Quilt Show, “Ties That Bind,” will be held Friday, Sept. 19 and Saturday, Sept. 20, at First Baptist Church’s Recreational Outreach Center, 115 Putman St.,  Sulphur Springs.

    The Dallas Symphony Orchestra will open its 41st season of Greenville performances this fall with a concert of “Casual Classics” that will “showcase the orchestra’s lighter side,” according to Bill Rolston, president of the Dallas Symphony Greenville concert series.
