If you like to make homemade ice cream, then why don’t you enter the Ice Cream Contest? You have nothing to lose and possibly $75 bucks to win!

The Chamber of Commerce will present The 8th Annual Texas State Champion Homemade Ice Cream Freeze-Off on Saturday, June 13th at 4 p.m. on the Civic Center Grounds. It is absolutely FREE to enter your freezer of ice cream; all you have to do is fill out an entry form and have your ice cream ready to be judged at 4 p.m. on June 13! If you would rather just eat ice cream than make it, then make plans to join us for only $3 for all-you-can-eat ice cream! Chamber hosting Business After Hours Mixer at 5:15 p.m.Thursday, June 18, at Candy Bouquet

The Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its regular Business After Hours Mixer next Thursday, June 18, at Candy Bouquet, located in the Windsor Plaza shopping center. Check out all of the amazing gift ideas, visit with friends, and possibly win a door prize!  We hope to see you there!

Freedom Ride & Rally, June 20th, Benefiting H.C. Veteran’s Memorial

The Veteran’s Memorial Group will be hosting a motorcycle rally on Saturday, June 20. Registration will be from 8-9 a.m. on the Square and the ride will begin at 9:15, then you will return to the square at noon for lunch. Farmer’s Market

If you haven’t had a chance to visit the farmer’s market on Saturday mornings on Main Street, check out their new website ( website http://sulphurspringsfarmersmarket.com/) and see what you’ve been missing. The market takes place from 8 a.m.-2 p.m., but make sure to get there early, so you don’t miss out on some of goodies that go quickly!

Ribbon Cutting at Rebounds, Friday, June 19th at Noon

Please join us for a ribbon cutting at Rebounds, Upscale Resale Shop, located at 1181 South Broadway Street on Friday, June 19, at noon. Stop by on your lunch hour and check out all of the beautiful items they have at Rebounds, and help us welcome them into our community.

Dairy Festival 5K Milk Run, Saturday, June 13th

If you would like to participate in the Dairy Festival 5K Milk Run, make sure and stop by Fieldhouse Sports to register! The race will take place at Coleman Park with registration beginning at 6:45 a.m. At 7:30 a.m. the Kids 1K Fun Runwill begin and the 5K will start at 8:00 a.m. Awards will be presented at 9:15 to the 1st place overall male and female in the following categories: 12-15 years, 16-20  years, 21-29  years, 30-39  years, 40-49  years, 50-59  years, 60-69  years and 70 years and over.
