Texas beats Oklahoma 8-5

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Michael Torres and Connor Rowe each drove in two runs and Texas took advantage of four walks in the third inning in an 8-5 victory over Oklahoma on Sunday.

Tant Shepherd drew the first walk in the third for the Longhorns (29-8, 12-6 Big 12) then scored three walks later. Rowe singled in his two runs for his only hit during the inning. Torres hit a triple to right center for two RBIs in the fifth.

Chris Ellison had a two-RBI home run in the fourth for Oklahoma (29-11, 8-7). Bryant Hernandez hit a sacrifice fly for an RBI and Jamie Johnson drove in two runs.

Taylor Jungmann (4-2) pitched 4 1-3 innings in the win. Austin Wood got the final out to earn his tenth save.

Chase Anderson (0-1) gave up three runs in 1 1-3 innings in the loss.
