Good day to everyone. Today is a beautiful morning as I watch the sun come up on the frost covered pasture. God is good! You know the rest.
We are such a blessed county here in Hopkins County. We have so any businesses that help make this season special for those who do not have. Maci Fowler, owner of Sister Babyz, is a perfect example. She took her annual Style Show and made it a way to help the Salvation Army Angel Tree. God bless you Maci.
Sharon Moore of Brashear is doing a booming business with her barbecue business. Just smelling it makes me want to go buy some or raid their cooker. I am just kidding.
Brashear Library is bursting at the seams. I do so appreciate those who are leaving books to share with others. Stop by and visit the free library and see if there is anything that interests you.
We met Josh Barnett who is going to try to pick up where Bobby McDonald left off. He has some big boots to fill. Good luck.
Well, I am a grandmother on a mission. My daughter tried to ship some of her Christmas presents to my house but put the wrong address. She put County Road 1117 instead of County Road 1119, and FedEx said they were delivered. Well that is not my house, so I went to all five houses on CR 1117 and guess — what no presents. I’m trying now to track these down. If you live in Brashear and have some presents with my name on them, please call 903-612-8806. My granddaughter's Christmas depends on it.
So nice to see Elton and Louise Stewart at the Cumby Telephone Christmas get-together yesterday. Even on a cold day, they got out to visit and celebrate Cumby Telephone, or One Touch.
