November is here. Where is the cooler weather? I love fall with all of the changes, but really want cooler weather. Tom is still picking the garden: okra, bell peppers, peppers, swiss chard and mustard greens. I think he is ready to just plow it under.

Yes, it is time to vote. Please take time to vote. I’m not sure who is better, but this is our chance to make a statement so vote. This is not a paid political announcement.

Brashear Free Library is being used and there are now a lot of children books to choose from. Stop and take a gander. Thinking of adding videos, any opinions on that? Would love to hear your comments on adding videos.

Sulphur Springs churches are offering you a chance to help others to have a Thanksgiving dinner. Check with several churches how to “Be the Service.” This is a really good way to help those who may not have an opportunity to have the traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Tom and I currently facilitate a Divorce Support Group, Divorce Care. On Nov. 16, we are offering an open session entitled “Surviving the Holidays.” This session is open to anyone who is going through separation or divorce. It will start at 6 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Sulphur Springs Parlor. Come and see how this session can help you to make the holidays be less stressful. If you know of someone going through divorce, invite or bring them to come and see what our Divorce Support Group is all about. Call me at 903-612-8806, if you have any questions. Childcare will be provided.
