DALLAS (AP) — A former escrow officer at a Dallas company must repay more than $1.2 million in an embezzlement case and report to prison by April 15.

The U.S. Attorney's Office on Thursday announced a federal judge sentenced 71-year-old Helen K. Sullivan of Commerce to 42 months in prison.

Sullivan in August pleaded guilty to mail fraud.

Prosecutors say Sullivan, from 2000 until September 2006, embezzled funds from escrow accounts of Lawyers Title Insurance Corp. Investigators say Sullivan used the money to pay her personal credit cards, plus buy chemicals to fund another business operation.
