Sam Owens of Paris talked to local a sociology class about the Amber Menefee Mobile Memorial, a graphic depiction of what can happen when people drink and drive.
The memorial, parked Tuesday in front of PJC-Sulphur Springs Center, is a trailer containing the crumpled car Menefee was killed in. The car collided with another vehicle driven by a woman whose blood-alcohol content was well over the legal limit. The mobile memorial is taken to schools and other venues as an educational tool against drunk driving.
