Funeral services for Clara Mattison, 80, of Como will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Como United Methodist Church with the Rev. Beverly Olson and the Rev. Lloyd Cashion officiating.
Interment will follow in Como Cemetery with Brandon Bain, Matthew Mattison, Jonathan Newsom, Caleb Anderson, Josh Collins and Carl Bryan serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., prior to the service, at Como United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Mattison died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, at Carriage House Manor.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Como United Methodist Church.
She was born Oct. 20, 1933, the daughter of Jake and Russie Ovelle Carlisle Martin in Quitman, Texas. She married Walter Glenn “Tucker” Mattison on Aug. 23, 1952, in Dallas, Texas. He survives.
Other survivors include: daughters, Debbie Bryan and husband, Carl, of Nelta and Chandra Anderson and husband, Clint, of Georgetown; sons, Glenn Mattison and wife, Leeta, of Sulphur Springs and Gene Mattison and wife, Tammie, of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Brandon Bain and wife, Karmon, Maci Newsom and husband, Jonathan, Matthew Mattison and wife, Jamie, Maggi DeVoto and husband, Tony, Laura Lane Morrison and husband, Steve, Caleb Anderson, Rachel Mattison, Hannah Mattison and Tori Mattison; and great-grandchildren, Jack Bain, Noah Newsom, Anna-Claire Newsom, Sophie DeVoto, Stella DeVoto, Ayden Morrison, Sawyer Morrison and Sophia Morrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and five brothers.
