From Staff Reports
CUMBY — The hometown Trojans were outscored 2-0 in recent football scrimmage action.

Despite being held scoreless in the home Saturday action against Price Carlisle, Trojans head coach Tom Dracos says bright spots in the event.
“We had a great first scrimmage against Price Carlisle,” Dracos said. “Coach (Rocky) Baker has done a great job over there and they are a quality program.  Our first defense gave up one big play for a touchdown and had two turnovers. Alex Sawyer,  Cody Anderson and Eric Wilson all showed senior leadership and made some great plays. Offensively we were close several times but we didn't execute at all 11 spots consistently.  One big surprise of the day was the play of freshman Tylan Brown. He made a great run of 65 yards and some good plays on defense.”
Dracos added, “I am very excited about the way our kids played today.  We are better today than I expected.   We must continue to work hard every day and be committed to being excellent and we will have a great season.”
