David Strain has been on a tear the past few weeks while competing in the Monday Night Sport league. 

Strain made no exception this week, shooting a notable 590 scratch set that included an impressive 243 game to conclude the evening.  Strain’s outstanding series’ as of late has led to an unbelievable 20 pin improvement on his individual average, from 151 to start the league to 171 as of week ten of the Monday Sport league.  
    Marlene Morris crushed her opponents this week, firing an awesome 525 scratch set, while competing on lanes five and six.  The leadoff bowler for the Neighbors team rolled games of 182, 199 and 144 on her 143 individual average.  Morris’ effort boosted her team into a four way tie for third place in the team standings with the last position round of the summer session just two weeks away.  
    Malcom Rogers and Karen Gray led the Got Robbed team to victory Sunday night during mixed league competition.  The duo booked 1094 total scratch pins enabling their team to claim three wins.  Rogers rolled games of 201 and 181, while Gray was above her 166 individual average all evening with scores of 169, 184 and 192.  

Monday Night Sport
    Joey Davila nabbed three wins for his team Monday night, after firing games of 202 and 197.  Shayne Wilson bagged games of 215 and 201, while Jason Keller shot scores of 194 and 196 to help the trio take three games.  
    Corey Ogle pummeled his opponents during Monday’s trio action with his 586 three game scratch performance.  Ogle took the second high scratch set of the match on his games of 212, 181 and 193.  

Tuesday Doubles
    Rhonda Stephens carried her team to victory during Tuesday’s mixed play on her 566 three game scratch set.  Stephens, who has been the team’s anchor for most of the summer session, tossed scores of 235 and 175 to help her team remain in first place on the team standings board.
    Kevin Horton clinched all four points for his team, Subway’s Meatballs, on his games of 213, 207 and 193.  Horton finished the night 61 pins above his average for series and improved his team record to 23-17, third best thus far for Tuesday’s Doubles action.
    David VanSickle clinched three much needed wins for team Sign Language, after posting a solid 609 scratch set.  VanSickle charted scores of 255 and 198 on his 187 individual average.
Thursday Men’s Trio
    Mike Gilliland recorded the high series of the night with his 855 four game scratch effort.  Gilliland, who has been struggling lately, showed definite signs of improvement Thursday, after bowling games of 211, 236 and 228 to close out the session.      
    Jim Beard put together three impressive games of 221, 218 and 233 to help his team, T.V. Man & Company, take three wins from Thursday’s bout.  
    Bobby Matthews seized three wins for the Matthews & Company team after shooting a respectable 835 four game scratch set.  Matthews rolled two steady gam3es of 206 and 204 before unloading an incredible 268 during the third game of the match.
