Miller Grove Independent School District announced this week that new students can start registering for classes now.
Any new student can be registered at the high school office during regular business hours. School supply lists for MG pre-k through sixth graders is also available at Walmart. Students in grades seven through 12 need to bring paper, a pen and pencil on the first day of school; any additional information regarding class requirements will be given at that time.
All Miller Grove students are to report for class Monday, Aug. 25. The first period tardy bell will ring at 8:15 a.m., so students should plan to be at school and in their classes before that time. The school day at MGISD ends at 3:20 p.m.
Elementary students and their parents will have an opportunity to meet the child’s teachers from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21. Junior high and high school students will be able to pick up their class schedules in the high school library during that time as well.
