    Funeral services for Francis Lillian Sudduth, 96, of Tyler, formerly of Sulphur Springs, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1, in the Chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Crawford and the Rev. Ron Moore officiating.  

    Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
    Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time.
    Lillian Sudduth was born Jan. 22, 1918, in Powderly to Raymond and Annie Alvord. They preceded her in death.
    She died Monday July 28, 2014.
    She moved to Tyler with her husband in 1939 and lived there most of her life.
    She started playing hymns on the piano when she was four years old and continued playing in church until her death. She also played hymns at Atria Willow Park almost every day for over 16 years.
    Mrs. Sudduth was a member of Westwood Baptist Church, where she played the piano for her Sunday school class.
    Survivors include one son, Marvin Sudduth of Tyler; and one grandson, Barry Sudduth and wife, Mary, of Houston.
    She was also preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. F.R. Sudduth, four brothers and one sister.  
    The family requests memorials be made to Westwood Baptist Church 820 NNW Loop 323, Tyler 75702 or to the Hospice of East Texas Foundation, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler 75701.
