Wildcat football tickets on sale Aug. 4-8

    Fans interested in supporting the Sulphur Springs Wildcats don’t have long to wait as home tickets go on sale for the 2014 the week of Aug. 4-8 according to Sulphur Springs administrative assistant Dwayne McMeans.

    Season ticket packages will cost $50 for five home games. The two Wildcat scrimmages this year will be at Liberty-Eylau on Friday, Aug. 15 and against Royse City on Friday, Aug. 22 at Gerald Prim Stadium.
    Times for scrimmage are to be announced later.
    All regular season football games begin at 7:30 p.m.
    The 2014 football season kicks off at Rockwall against Rockwall-Heath on Friday, Aug. 29.
    The other away games will be against Whitehouse, Mount Pleasant, Longview Pine Tree and Marshall.
    Home games this year include, games with Sherman, Texas High, Greenville (homecoming), Hallsville and Longview (Senior Night).
    The first two days of tickets sales, Aug. 4-5 are only to 2013 season ticket holders who wish to renew their tickets. On Wednesday, Aug. 6, those who have already renewed their tickets may upgrade their seating assignments, based on the number of available seats.
    All remaining sats will go on sale to the general public on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 7-8. Sales will be conducted on all days (Monday-Friday) from 8:45 a.m. until 12 noon and 1-5 p.m. Offices will be closed from 12 noon to 1 p.m. each day.
    All season tickets must be purchased at the SSHS Media Center during the hours listed. Patrons are asked to use the Connally Street entrance on the east side of the high school.
    Ticket holders who are unable to pick up their own tickets may designate an agent to pick the tickets up for them, but tickets must be paid for with the ticket holder’s check made out to SSHS or SSISD and accompanied by a letter of authorization from the ticket holder.
