Private services were held for Frank Adams, 80, of Pickton, who died July 11, 2014.
He was born Feb. 5, 1934, to James (Hobb) Adams and Lucinda (Hurt) Adams in Amity, Ark.
He married Helen Clanin on July 24, 1953, in Bluffton, Ind. She survives.
Mr. Adams was in the dairy business for many years, he was part-owner of A&I Dairy Supply in Sulphur Springs, and he worked briefly as an insurance adjuster and as an employee of Mix-Mill in Bluffton, Ind.
Survivors include sons Jeff Adams, James Adams and Brian Adams, all of Pickton; daughters Peggy Brown and husband, Charlie, of Winnsboro and Penny Steele of Pickton; sisters Betty McNeil and Verna Sue Anderson of Amity, Ark.; brother Sam Adams of Wellington; grandchildren Josh Brown, Holly Brown, Sarah Johnson, Dakota Johnson, Brandt Steele and Bryce Steele; and two great-grandchildren, Rylee Ann and James Bodie Aaron.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
