I hope everyone had a great Independence Day this year. I enjoyed my day off for the fourth of July. I was invited to a friend’s home to celebrate with them, so I spent my day in Saltillo eating and enjoying fireworks.
Saturday my cousin Hunter Darrow married his fiance, Tiffney Goldsmith, of Saltillo. They were married Saturday, July 5, at 7 p.m. at the Billboard House in Cumby. Not including the wedding party, there were 130 guests attending the wedding. Hunter and Tiffney said their vows under a large pecan tree in the courtyard of the west side of the establishment with a hand-made life-size cross stationed behind the minister. After the ceremony, guests were treated to a reception inside of the Billboard House. Food and cake were served following the first dance lead by Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Darrow. The groom is the son of Johnny and Sherry Darrow of Miller Grove and Larry and Tracy Cummings of McKinney. The bride is the daughter of Don and Tonya Biggs of Saltillo.
