Dear Delores:

Is there a public dump in Sulphur Springs? I recently moved here and have remodeled my new house. I will re-do the kitchen soon and have some old (in bad shape and pretty unusable) cabinets to get rid of. Also, the previous homeowner left over a dozen buckets of old paint in the storage room. How or where can I dispose of these?

Dear Amy:

The dump is located at 2811 FM 1568, Campbell, TX. Phone is 903.886.7832.

Hours of operation:   M-F  7:30a – 4:30p, Sat 7:30a – noon.

Must be done by closing or you get locked in.

Load should be secured and/or tarped, per state law, or you “could” be fined $25.00.

You’ll need a copy of your water bill and ID to dump 1 trailer load for free every 30 days (not once per month).

No tires, batteries, paint, oils, refrigerants, or air conditioners. They will take paint cans if the paint is dry. No liquids. If you have any further concerns about what you cannot dump just give them a call and they could probably give you a much more accurate list.

Hope this helps and good luck on your home improvements!
