Chanse, Brandi, Cody, Daylee, Sherry and Powell joined Tara and Mike Owens in Gulf Shores, Alabama for a few days. They stayed in a beautiful condo looking over the gulf. Sherry

says, “Bocce ball was the big competition throughout the entire time.” Chanse, Cody, Brandi, Powell, Mike and Daylee parasailed one day. The group also took a deep sea fishing tour and caught several Red Snapper. They report that the weather was beautiful and they had a lot of fun. Daylee also brought home a new addition to the family, “Bob Fite,” a hermit crab, along with his little house and all the amenities.

Joyce Dodd reported that Mandi Owens and a friend were here over the weekend for Trenton Dodd's graduation from North Hopkins High School. They had lunch with Joyce and William on Saturday before the ceremony, and they visited with Mandi's mom, Tonja, and sister Maegan, prior to leaving on Saturday afternoon.

Sulphur Springs Chrysler Dodge Jeep recognized Wesley Weir as their student of the week. Wesley is the son of Robert and Yvonne Weir and attends school at North Hopkins. He visited with the employees at the dealership and received a gift card, and then he enjoyed getting to watch the repair work being done in the shop!

Dacy Campbell and her family visited Robert, Yvonne, and Wesley Weir on Wednesday. Yvonne reports, “We all went to Justa's and found lots of 'treasures', as Elise called them. After we came home, we swam and enjoyed the patio.” She adds, “Brenda Allen and her granddaughters came to visit on Saturday. We enjoyed swimming and cooking on the grill. Some of us got sunburned. Jan Vaughn visited later in the afternoon. Dakota visited over the weekend and so did Destri. It was so good to have them here and to go to church together.”

Larry and Dorothy Fitzgerald of Somerville and Charles and Jean Darr of Sulphur Springs visited Chip and me for a little while on Saturday afternoon.

On Sunday, we took our daughter, Tiffany, out to lunch for her birthday. Joining us to help her celebrate were Morgan Joslin and Jacob Peugh.
