Edward A. Kistenmacher Jr.
Graveside services for Edward A. Kistenmacher Jr. will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 5, at the funeral home.
He died June 2, 2014, in Dallas.
Mr. Kistenmacher was born April 13, 1921, in Sulphur Springs, the son of Eddie and Grace Kistenmacher.
He married Billie Jean Case on Oct. 22, 1950, in Brookhaven, Miss. She preceded him in death.
He graduated from the University of Texas, and then served in the Navy during World War II.
In Dallas, he worked for the Sun Oil Company as a petroleum engineer. Mr. Kistenmacher was a member of the board at White Rock Methodist Church and active in the Sunday school class.
Survivors include his sister, Betty Gideon of Sulphur Springs; sons Edward Kistenmacher and David Kistenmacher of Garland; daughter-in-law Hope Kistenmacher; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
