Graveside services for Ken Ivey, 74, of Sulphur Springs will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Pogue officiating.
Mike Garner, Kenny Ivey, Chuck Bannister, Jeremy Garner, Justin Garner and Brian Sartin will serve as pallbearers.
There will be no formal visitation.
Kenneth Ray Ivey died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at his residence.
He was born in Wolfe City on July 24, 1939, the son of Sam and Flora Mayfield Ivey.
He married Carol Ann Boatwright on Jan. 12, 1979, in Hugo, Oka. She survives.
He was a retired truck driver and a member of the New Beginnings Fellowship Church.
Other survivors include sons Kenny Ivey and wife, Keesha, of Sulphur Springs, Mike Garner and wife, Tammy, of Mount Vernon and Chuck Bannister and wife, Sonya, of Irving; brother Ed Ivey of Dallas; sister Ethel McKay of Wolfe City; grandchildren Katelin Ivey, Kohlson Ivey, Kenzie Ivy, Kaycee Ivey, Chelsie Garner, Justin Garner, Jagger Garner, Jeremy Garner and Braylee Garner; and great-grandchildren Abbie Garner and Caleb Garner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Brad Garner; brothers Tommy Ivey, Tony Ivey and Thurell Ivey; and sisters Berniece Steen and Mamie White.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
