Trevor John Allan
Funeral services for Trevor John Allan, 43, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Murray- Orwosky Funeral Home with Judge Robert Newsom and the Rev. Steve Cook officiating.
Interment will follow in Shooks Chapel Cemetery with Thomas Croft, Travis Allan, Clay Watts, Wesley Matthews, Billy Goldsmith and Sergio Reyes serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 28, at the funeral home.
Trevor John Allan was born on March 25, 1971, in Cowansville, Quebec, Canada, the son of Bill Allan of Dike and Vicky Stribling of Sulphur Springs.
He died March 26, 2014, in Hopkins County.
Trevor Allan moved to Hopkins County when he was three years old and attended school at Sulphur Bluff ISD, where he graduated, being active in all sports and FFA.
After graduation, he attended Tarleton State University before returning to Sulphur Springs.
At the time of his death he worked for BEF Foods.
Trevor loved the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, warm smile, willingness to help others and for his loyalty to family and friends.
Trevor is survived by his two children, Austin Allan and Kaci Allan; their mother, Louise Harris, all of Como; his mother, Vicky Stribling and husband, Gary, of Sulphur Springs ; father Bill Allan and wife, Jamie, of Dike; sisters Susan Croft and husband, Thomas, of Springtown and Sharon Mayo of Fort Worth; brother Travis Allan of Denton; and nephews Cody, Carson, Cooper and Jordan, who thought the world of their Uncle Trevor.
