Two programs are scheduled at the senior citizens center for individuals of all ages.

East Texas Center for Independent Living will have a representative at the Senior Citizens Center at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, to let people who are deaf, hard of hearing, speech impaired, blind, vision impaired, mobility impaired or cognitively impaired  know what equipment is available to help meet their specific needs.
Affiliated Driving School will be offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, March 31, at the Senior Citizens Center, to help those interested lower their insurance rate and to aid in ticket dismissal. While the class is being held at the Senior Citizens Center, drivers of all ages are welcome.
There is a $14 fee for those seeking an insurance discount and $25 for ticket dismissal (see the court the ticket is through for those costs and to verify the class is valid for individual ticket needs).
Call 903-885-1661 to register for the March 31 class or for more information. The Senior Citizens Center is located at 150 Martin Luther King Drive.
