A lunch fundraiser is planned March 20 to help raise funds for a 2-year-old who is battling leukemia.
Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab, 411 Airport Road, will sponsor a “Benefit for Carson” Bryant, son of Sulphur Springs native Leslie Nelson Bryant and Tom Bryant from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 20.
For a $6 a plate donation choose either a ham and cheese, chicken salad, pimento cheese, turkey and cheese or roast beef and cheese sandwich; chips, a drink and dessert included. Call 903-885-7668 by March 18 to order a plate. Delivery available.
In addition to the sandwich lunch, there will be a bake sale and silent auction.
Proceeds go to help costs associated with Carson’s medical care. The 2-year-old was diagnosed Oct. 18 with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He is receiving treatment at St. Jude Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Carson is described as “an energetic little boy who loves the outdoors, sports, trucks and making music.”
