A funeral service for Tony Mexia, 70, of Arlington will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Burns officiating.
Interment will follow at Emblem Cemetery with Mario Viliapando, Matthew Rodriquez, Jacob Valdez, Keith Shelton, Larry Mexia and Mark Mexia serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 3, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mr. Mexia died Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Mansfield Methodist Hospital in Mansfield.
Tony Mexia was born in Greenville, Aug. 17, 1943, the son of Frank Mexia and Jessie Becerra Mexia.
He married Yvonne Thompson. She preceded him in death in 2001. He married Kathy Deleon; she survives.
Mr. Mexia was a QAQC inspector for Halliburton and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Other survivors include two daughters, Deanna Robinson-Mexia of Mesquite and Ashley Mexia of Seagoville; a son, Kirk Mexia of Garland; and grandchildren Kendra Galindo, Anthony Joe Galindo, Kassie Mexia, Alexis Tello, Elijah Tello, Noah Valdez, Dylan Mexia, Tyler Mexia, Sasha, Brissa and Jon.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
