The promoter of Loretta Lynn’s show on Friday, Feb. 28 at Greenville’s Municipal Auditorium has been so impressed with the response to the News-Telegram contest that he decided to offer a second set of tickets for the show.
“We are happy to offer an additional set of tickets,” Bryan Blaum of CMH Productions said in a phone call to the news office Friday afternoon. “We want you to go ahead and give a set away next week, in addition to the ones you plan to give away on Feb. 25.”
To enter the contest, visit the News-Telegram’s Facebook page – www.facebook.com/myssnewscom.
Then scroll down and like and/or share the post with The Queen of Country music pictured in a red dress.
As of Saturday morning, the post has been seen more than 43,000 times and more than 1,700 likes and shares have been counted.
“We’ll draw a name for the first two tickets on Tuesday morning, Jan. 28,” said Terry Mathews, News-Telegram’s arts editor. “We’ll announce the winner on Facebook.”
Another name will be drawn on Tuesday, Feb. 25, as originally planned.
“Likes and shares will be counted, so do both to double your chances to wins,” Mathews said. “All entries from Jan. 17 forward will be used. Of course, next week’s winner will be ineligible for the final drawing.”
Tickets are priced from $45-$65. Reserved seats may be purchased in person at the box office, by calling 903-457-2994 or by logging on to www.showtimeatthegma.com. The show begins at 8 p.m.
