The weather has changed and I am loving it. We are actually having a fall. The leaves that are left are turning some beautiful colors. The persimmon seeds are telling that we might have a cold winter. The weather channel says it will be a warmer than normal winter. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I would really like a colder one so maybe the grasshoppers will not be so bad.

Tom has moved all of his plants inside. I hope all of you did. He even covered his pepper plants so we can still have some peppers.

We have a missing dog. It is a small black hound with a tan belly. He is wearing a plaid collar and answers to the name of Jack Jack. He is our grandchildren’s dog and they are worried about him. If you see him anywhere here in Brashear, please give us a call.

I would like to thank Brashear Baptist Church for their food ministry they have going. My mother gets a meal every Tuesday and it is enough for her to eat two meals. Thank you very much for this ministry.

Would like to make a prayer request. My uncle, Don Bland, is very ill. He is known around her as Butch. He is currently in a Plano hospital trying to get better. Just take the time to say a little prayer for him to get better. Thank you.

Holiday season is fast approaching. The Senior Citizen Center in Sulphur Springs has their Christmas tree up with Seniors names and their Christmas wish list. Please take the time and get one of the names to help one of them have a Merry Christmas. The Blue Santa program is up and running and I think there might be an Angel Tree at the VF Mall. We are so blessed in this country to be able to help someone close by in this way.

I seem to have run out of things to say so I will ask you to please call me at 903-612-8806; email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
