The rain last weekend was very nice. We had 1.1 inch, and we loved it. Let’s hope the rain keeps coming. Tom had planted his fall garden right before the rain and now everything he planted is up.

P31 is alive and well here in Brashear. Remember if you would like to get in better shape and feel better. Come join us at the Brashear Baptist Church Family Life Building. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Join this month and do not pay for the first time member fee. Love to see you there at 7 p.m. on the days mentioned above.

Thanks to the road crew of Precinct 1. We love our ditches being mowed. My mother is most appreciative.

Sorry I could not be there for the meeting with commissioners and the sheriff for the jail information. I know those who attended had their questions answered.

I sincerely hope that everyone has had a chance to experience some of the cool mornings this past week. Get ready, I think we might hit in the 40s for Sunday night. Wahoo! Love the cooler weather.

I know everyone got their money’s worth last Friday night when the Wildcats beat Corsicana 77-65. What a game! Loved it. Tired, but loved it.

Fall is here and let’s hope the grasshoppers will leave us real soon. Mosquitoes are bad now that we have had this last rain.

Also, I guess we can drop Divorce Care because no one has shown up for three weeks. Sad but maybe later in the spring. We are planning a special session for dealing with the holidays a hard time for divorcees and their families.
