Yvonne Weir returned from South Dakota on Wednesday evening. Robert and Wesley Weir enjoyed the carnival on Saturday, and then on Sunday Robert, Yvonne, and Wesley

traveled to Rockwall to meet Destri Weir and Dustin and Natalie Weir for a late lunch, in celebration of Destri’s birthday. On the way home they stopped in to see Dacy, Elise, and Eli Campbell in Royse City, then on to Brashear to visit Dakota Weir. Yvonne also reports, “Wesley played Bright Star baseball on Monday night.”

Michael McNiel spent Saturday visiting with his parents, William and Joyce Dodd, and William’s mother, Dorothy Hurley, who is at Sunny Springs Nursing Home.

Laiken Gammill’s mother, Leighanne, surprised Laiken on her birthday, Wednesday, Sept. 18, with cupcakes and a gift. We hosted a celebration for Laiken on Saturday evening. Joining us for her birthday supper were Landon, Rylan and Brailon Joslin, Tiffany, Kenden and Jaidyn Joslin. Morgan Joslin was involved with Civil Air Patrol activities at the Fall Festival on Friday and Saturday.

We celebrated again on Sunday, in honor of Linda Ellen Vaughn’s birthday. Grace Vaughn and Malcolm, Tiffany, and the kids had lunch with us.
