Monday, Sept 9, will be Mrs. Leanne Bryant's drama class' annual wax museum. Students dress up as famous characters in settings that are made by the art classes. Visitors will be welcome to come from 6 p.m. to 7 pm. Students will be set up in the Miller Grove High School hallway for all to see.
Lots of folks are gearing up for dove season. Bow season is not too far off either.
Dwayne and Kathy Wren had their annual Labor Day cookout for their family this weekend. I was invited but wasn’t able to attend this year. They said they had a pretty good turn-out; somewhere around 30 people. Next year I’ll try my best to make it because I always enjoy seeing everyone. They said Steve and Cathy Rhodes, Mary Russell Ridings, Jearald Wren, Linda Wren, Billy and Jean Wren, Billy Paul Wright, H.C. Burns and several others were there.
