We enjoyed a relaxing day on Friday, and then Larry and Dorothy Fitzgerald of Somerville came for a visit on Saturday. We had a good time playing cards and Rummicub and had a delicious lunch at the Longhorn Steakhouse in The Woodlands. If you see Larry or Chip, be sure to ask them who won the card games. On Sunday, Chip and I visited Dixie and Brianna Cartwright and their family in Sour Lake (near Beaumont) before driving home.
Tiffany, Morgan, Kenden and Jaidyn Joslin and I visited Delayne Vaughn in Waco on Thursday. After a delicious lunch at Ninfa's Mexican Restaurant, we spent the afternoon at the Cameron Park Zoo. On Saturday afternoon Morgan, Kenden and I went to Doctor's Creek at Cooper Lake State Park. The boys had planned to swim, but the water and wind were still a little too cool, so we all just enjoyed walking along the shore. The lake is still very low and there was no water in the swimming area. Jaidyn had planned to go with them, but she ended up with a virus that day.
