Got my hands on NOTHING'S GOING TO CHANGE THE WAY YOU FEEL ABOUT NOW, a copy of Justin Townes Earle's new CD, set to drop on the 27th.

If you're a child of the 1960s and love the sound Otis Redding brought to the stage, you need to pick this one up.

Earle uses horns, saxes, an organ and a rocking upright bass (Bryne Davies, strutting her usual fabulosity) to squeeze out a sound that's at once dreamy - "Down on the Lower East Side" (my favorite single so far this year) - and full of the rhythms that float down the streets of Memphis - "Baby's Got a Bad Idea."
