Well, we have just gotten back from a camping trip. Who would have thought that you could camp in February and use the air conditioner because of the heat? We went to Daingerfield State Park and really enjoyed the park and the weather. If you need a quick getaway, check it out.

It’s getting to be garden time. Tom wanted me to remind everyone to get their gardens bedded because there is a lot of rain in the forecast for the next week. Have you checked out the prices of onions (red, sweet or white) and seed potatoes? Where have you found the best prices?

I got a call today from Waneta Townsend. She is the great-grandmother of Jace Glenn. She wanted me to let everyone know that Jace is doing very well. I also found out that Jace Glenn is a sixth-generation Buckholt. She wanted all the Buckholts in Brashear to know that he is doing very well. I also found out that we are related, Jace and I. It's a small world, isn't it?

So sorry to hear that Ron Bramlett's uncle, Corky, passed away this week. He was be buried in the Cumby Cemetery on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m.

Try to stay warm, as they say the temperatures are going to be below average the rest of the week.

I want to thank everyone for calling and giving me information.
