I do not know about you, but I would like some cold weather. I think we might have a problem with bugs if we do not get some really cold weather.
The Brashear community is hurting lately. We have lost some of our loved ones. Please pray for these losses.
The weather is bringing early spring flowers blooming, and Bradford pear trees are budding out.
The whole community of Sulphur Springs has a true blessing this week with the kidney transplant of the Glenn baby. Pray for his healing and for MacKenzie Glenn's healing after her kidney donation.
The new First United Methodist Church ministry, The Dinner Bell, starts today, and I hope everyone who needs a meal will take advantage of this new ministry in Sulphur Springs. The Dinner Bell is serving every Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Sulphur Springs. Call 903-885-2158 for more details.
Hope everyone who is planning a garden this year has their garden ready. Tom planted garlic last week and it is already up. Remember that potatoes and onions need to be in the ground by Feb. 14. Are your pools full? There is another good chance for rain this Friday. We still have one pool that is not up to its regular level. More rain needed.
I am so sorry that there is not much news but am hoping for a better report next week. I was out of town last week babysitting my grandkids. You know grandmothers are always ready for an excuse to keep their grandkids.
