Sandra Wester enjoyed lunch and visiting with her friends and classmates of North Hopkins Class of l961 at Juan Pablo’s in Sulphur Springs on Thursday. They gathered to celebrate the birthday of

Nancy Wynelle Lawson Belz. Others joining in the fun were JoNell Crowson Willis, Catheron Smith Camper, Virginia Price Miller, Betty Weir, and Mary Sue Palmer Clayton and her husband, Eddie.

Sherry Smiddy spent a week in training at the University of Chicago and then ten days in Georgia. She got to come home in time to see Daylee Fite play soccer. The “Sweeties” team won again and is undefeated at this point.

Rick and Mick Petty joined Ken Chapman at the Ranger game on Saturday.

Regina Payton from Victoria visited with her parents, Floyd and Martha Payton, from Friday evening until Monday morning. Regina had returned home from spending vacation time in Merida, Mexico. She and five other lady friends stayed at the Hacienda, a beautiful villa. Martha says, “She had pictures of her trip to view on computer. We went out for lunch on Saturday, attended church on Sunday, went for several walks and enjoyed the cooler weather.”
