There is a definite change in the air in the early mornings. Love it! Can the break of 100-degree days be far behind? It was so hot at the ball game on Saturday night. Hope you enjoyed the game in your air conditioned homes. Ha!

We heard on the news last evening that there is a need to feed the hummingbirds through October. There will be 18 varieties migrating through Texas during September and October. The reason to feed is because the flowers and shrubs are not blooming because of the drought.

Brashear Community Center Garage Sale/Bash will probably be held the later part of October. There are some conflicts with other events in the area. Keep this in mind. We hope to have a great time. The next thing needed for the Community Center is a stove. We will make that our next big purchase. If you have not had the opportunity to observe all of the work that has already been done, let me know. I would love to show it off. It looks great!

School days are flying by fast. Hope you had an opportunity to support the Miller Grove Student Council fundraiser. Pizza! Can't wait to get mine. Some time around Sept. 7 they will be delivered.

News is very slow today. Sorry about that. If you have a concern about anything around Brashear, please let me know. I have been contacted about a family needing some help around their home. Thanks to those who contacted me. We all can use a little help sometime.
