Sandra Wester enjoyed lunch and visiting with Carolyn Miller at Ruby Tuesday at the Harbor on Lake Ray Hubbard on Thursday. She also enjoyed the scenery on the drive home along the back roads.

Mick, Linda, Rick and Judy Petty met Ken and Suzi Chapman in Dallas Sunday. The guys went to the Texas Ranger game and the girls went out to eat and shopped. They all went back to Mick and Linda's house and had pizza. Mick and Linda's granddaughter, Reagan, came out Sunday night and they watched the Maverick game they had taped earlier in the day. Reagan had been in Washington, D.C., from Wednesday to Sunday to attend the BPA finals, Reagan placed 14th out of 104 in her competition. BPA is a national student organization for Business and Information Technology students, which promotes leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills. Mick and Linda attended the sports banquet at Sulphur Springs High School, where their granddaughter, Reagan Humphrey, received MVP honors for girls basketball.

On Saturday Mick and Linda took Linda's mother, Fay Burns, out to eat at AJ's Fish House for Mothers Day. Also attending were James, Hesston and Shelly Humphrey. It was good to see Ken and Suzi Chapman of Killeen at North Hopkins School on Monday. They, along with Tommy and Carolyn Long and Sandra Wester, were interviewing students for scholarships. Ken grew up in Tira. His parents were Gay and Ruth Chapman.

Malcolm, Tiffany, Landon, Morgan, Kenden and Jaidyn Joslin, and Chip and I met Delayne Vaughn at Red Lobster in Greenville on Friday night to celebrate Landon’s 17th birthday. Delayne spent Mother's Day weekend with us and returned to Waco on Sunday afternoon. On Saturday we went to Josh and Nicole Vaughn's home for Casen and Carson's first birthday party. Grace Vaughn, Delayne, Malcolm, Tiffany and the kids had Mother’s Day lunch with us on Sunday.
