Adult Leadership Project: A New Walking Track on the South Side of Buford Park
The Hopkins County Adult Leadership Class announced that their class project will be to put in a walking track on the south side of Buford Park. The walking track will add an approximate one-third of a mile to the existing track at Buford Park. Not only will the track be a great, shaded place to walk, but the class is selling beautiful 12-inch by 12-inch granite tiles that will be placed every 15 feet around the entire track. The tiles can have a family’s name or a business name on them and they will be placed in the concrete to live on in the park for years to come. The cost to purchase a tile is $300, or if you want a logo on it, it will be $340. There are a limited number of tiles available, so get yours NOW! If you would like more information, please call Cody Stewart at Eternity Creations at 903-438-1313.
