Boys baseball sign-ups taking place at Fieldhouse Sports through Saturday

If you would like for your son to play baseball, make sure to stop by Fieldhouse Sports by this Saturday, Feb. 12, to get them registered. The sign-up fee is $65 for the first child, then $55 for each additional child.

 

Girls softball registration at Curry Pools and Crys & Stacy’s Cornerstone Creations end Feb. 26

If you would like to sign your daughter up to play softball, please stop by Curry Pools at 1217 S. Broadway or Cornerstone Creations at 468 Shannon Road. You may register through February 26. The draft is scheduled for March 3rd & 4th, or you can visit the website at www.eteamz.com/hcgsa1/HCGSA.

 

Kiwanis Club Pancake Day set for Saturday, Feb. 19

Get your tickets now for the Kiwanis Pancake Day at the Civic Center from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19! Stop by to have some yummy pancakes and help support Kiwanis Club!

Ribbon cutting for Bright Star Christian School at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 23

Please join us in welcoming Bright Star Christian School to Sulphur Springs and the Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce. We will host their ribbon cutting on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at noon at the school inside of Calvary Baptist Church at 130 Lee St. The school is privately owned, offers grades 4-8, and the student/teacher ratio is 12:1. East Texas Broadcasting hosting ‘Taste of Home Cooking School’ Thursday, March 24, at the Civic Center
