Donna Durst had the pleasure of going with Casey, Tiffany and Joseph Durst to Athens on Monday to visit with Jo Hasty, Donna's mother. Donna says, “Granny Hasty had some quality time with Joseph, her great-grandson, while Casey, Tiffany and Donna enjoyed watching.” They also got to visit with Donna's only aunt, Janice Cunningham, better known to family members as Tiny.

Sheila Boyd reports, “We enjoyed a little faamily time last night. Jeremy, Karen, Josie, Dallas, Wesley, Terri, Colton, Michael and I enjoyed brisket and the fixings.” She says, “There is nothing better than making memories with family.”

Mick and Linda Petty spent the weekend in Austin. On Friday night, Rick and Judy and Mick and Linda were treated to a steak dinner by Chris and Robin Petty for Mick and Rick's birthday. After dinner they went to the George Strait concert with Rick, Judy, Chris, Robin and Ken and Suzi Chapman of Belton. On Saturday Ken, Suzi, Mick and Linda attended the Texas-Oklahoma basketball game in Austin (Texas won!). They spent Saturday night with Ken and Suzi, and enjoyed visiting and watching football.

Chip and I took Grace Vaughn out to eat at Red Lobster in Greenville to celebrate her 90th birthday on Tuesday evening. Birthday wishes may be sent to her at 301 Bill Bradford, Apt. 2, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482.

The North Hopkins homecoming games will be played on Friday night and a new homecoming queen will be crowned.
