Ribbon cutting at Wesley United Methodist Church

We are so happy to welcome Wesley United Methodist Church to the Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce. They are located at 614 Texas St. (the intersection of Texas and Bellview streets). “Imagine No Malaria” is the United Methodist Church’s initiative to raise $75 million to eliminate malaria deaths and suffering in Africa by 2015. Wesley UMC is raising $3,020 to purchase 302 insecticide-treated nets, one net for each member of our congregation. They are raising the money by “swarming” members of Wesley UMC. It costs $10 to have someone swarmed and $10 to have the swarm removed from your yard. To have the swarm removed, call 903-439-4874. This is the Wesley Imagine No Malaria hotline.
