All ssisd buses will run one hour early today. Parents may pick up students early, however, staff will remain until all students are picked up, according to Superintendent Michael Lamb.
Saltillo ISD officials, erring on the side of caution, are releasing students at 3 p.m. Buses began running at that time too.
North Hopkins ISD dismissed at 2:45 p.m. Someone will remain at school with children not already picked up until parents can get them.
Sulphur Bluff ISD just announced school will be released 30 minutes early (3 p.m.) today as a weather precaution.
Miller Grove School let out at 2:45 p.m. If you have not picked up your child, they are at the school. Buses were pulling up at 2:50 p.m. as well to deliver children home a little early. Parents, please adjust schedules.
Como-Pickton and Yantis schools are on regular dismissal schedule, pending weather hitting during pick-up/bus routes.
Cumby is not dismissing early. Superintendent's concern is for student being home alone, or buses out if bad weather blows through. Normal schedule is being followed. Parents are welcome to pick up kids early if they choose. Buses will not begin afernoon run to deliver children home unless it is safe to do so.
