I lost contact with her and have been looking for her for years. I know she maintains some contact with SS (as well as being born and raised here) but I don't know with whom. I think she is now living in Round Rock, Tx but I have no contact info at all. I have been with my mother and serving as a caregiver. She's 95 and still lives at home. I go and clean, cook (I haven't done her in yet), and do other tasks. Terrific Tuesdays is a group that assists those with Alzheimer's and provides a respite for their caregivers and an opportunity for the individuals to engage in activities that let them be involved jn various activities. It is a wonderful experience for all. The Dinner Bell provides a meal (every Wednesday) for those who are in want of a decent, home cooked meal. The workers do all the planning, preparation, serving, and clean-up. Some come in early at 7 and stay until after 1. Others come in different times to do various tasks and sometimes leave before the serving.There are a few who work every week; while others work one or two weeks per month. It is a wonderful program, I highly recommend it to others. Both of these programs are held at First United Methodist Church. Both are wonderful things that have come into my life.
