1. I have been enjoying the content of the paper. There seems to be more coverage on local events, people, and local places. Instead of just skimming through the paper, I find myself sitting down and going back to re-read articles.
2. I have placed an ad in the classified section with very positive results.
3. It seems our paper delivery people must know Gabrovic or at the least have ESP about when our subscription is due for renewal. (They may be secretly working for another paper to hinder renewals.)
Our subscription is a six month with Sept. and March renewals. August and February are the worst months for delivery. It looks like they want us to switch by making us mad right before we renew. Don't ask me to go to the office to get a replacement paper a day late. (If I wanted a late paper, I would ask for mail delivery)
I know people have occasional problems, but consistent delivery is a key to retaining satisfied customers. As I said, I like the new content and I am willing to pay for it. This is now my decision: I can save my money and get no paper at all or I can spend money and get no paper at all.
As for delivery problems, check Midweek Neighbor. We get that without any problems and we do not pay for it.
