What continues to surprise me is the lack of tolerance for a differing point of view. If Page wants to think without referencing history, so be it. Leave it be. Take it for what it is - a different point of view. What if we all looked at issues the same way? How boring would that be?
As for the use of quotes to make a point, anyone with an Internet connection can find support for his/her opinions.
The quotes don't really mean much to me - unless, of course, you're quoting Jimmy Buffett.
Now, that's a man I would vote for ... and forget Margaritaville ... I hate the tune. I love the others, like Son of a Son of a Sailor which Jimmy performed at Walter Cronkite's memorial on Wednesday ... and the boy wore LONG PANTS and SHOES for the occasion.
But I digress ... I don't think anyone on these boards have the answers to the problems we face.
If they do, then they need to pack a bag and get to Austin or Washington and offer their services to our leaders.
