I am pretty good at WWII history and lived in Germany 4 1/2 years. I learned a lot about the history of that period and talked to numerous old German Soldiers. My question was always, how did people let this happen? I got a lesson that is NOT in textbooks!
I have made several references to this in my posts here and have not been taken seriously. Need to watch what is being done with the Census and Acorn, First and Second Amendment rights. And look at the people Obama is putting into key positions, like the Supreme Court. Folks this is a lifetime appointment, Sotomayor will be there to do the Liberals bidding not just Obama but the next Liberal to come along to push this agenda and I am sure it is the hope that other extreme liberal Judges are able to get appointments. And to the Liberals in this Forum, how can you defend the infringement of rights of other people even if you think it is right for you? Leave MY Constitutional Rights ALONE!!! Do the history, Bill Clinton laid much of the groundwork for the current bills coming through Congress. Remember Hillary Care?
I come across this article in Yahoo News and it just shows I am not alone in this line of thought.

(Barack) Obama and his Democratic Party, headed by Nancy Pelosi, remind me of the stories that I read about Hitler when he took over Germany. He took the guns away to keep the civilians from having any way to fight back; he made all kinds of laws you either obeyed them or you were put in prison or executed.
The point that I’m try to speak about are the things that Obama and the Democrats are doing with free enterprise: taking control over how they operate. Trying to pass health policies and if I don’t buy the health insurance, then I would be fined. He is helping to take God out of our everyday lives, the same man that put his hand on the Bible when he took the oath of the highest office in the land. They are setting themselves to fail as they have always had over the centuries. But in the meantime, my family and I will have to pay the price for their policies. I thought this was a country of freedom of choice, and I would not be persecuted for my choice. But in the days that will be coming that would be a small price to pay.
