Howa many people are as APPALLED as I am about what happened in the Mansfield hospital writen about in the editorial in Friday, May 29th's paper??? If the complaint was truly that the flag was too large as the hospital manager appears to now claim, then said MANAGER should be FIRED or at a minimum, severely reprimanded.
However, if the complaint was in reality that it WAS just the American flag that offended a fellow supervisor (and later mentioned other "visitors and patients"), then those that it offends can find another country to live!! One where they can find more freedom and opportunity than they have been given here.
That woman and her family have given more to the betterment of life in America AND the whole world, than any of those that have complained. Her husband, sons, and daughter have have helped create our country where those that "feel offended" can say that they are offended without imprisonment, beatings, .....or worse.
However, having said they feel offended, said complainers MUST be politely told that this is America and anyone can fly Her flag anyway, anywhere they want as long is it is safe and doesn't break any other law.
Sorry for the rant, but THAT er, ah.....kind of thing sets me totally off! Thanks to the NT editorialist for bringing it to light.
