Is Ron Paul going to be a viable candidate for conservatives?
I have been keeping an eye on him and listening to what he says, and I like the guy. I don't agree with everything he says, but I do agree with a lot of it. The libertarian view on foreign policy is debatable in the way the world operates these days, but they are staunch supporters of the Constitution and the limited role of government. (I'm not saying that the other party's don't support the Constitution, but they are overreaching the power the Constitution has given them.)
My views are debatable, I just want to know what others think about the question above.
What I am seeing is, he won the straw poll at CPAC, and was only ONE behind Mitt at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, the vote was 439 to 438. It's interesting to me.
