Obama bowing in Japan is no big thing..... every body does it.
It's a sign of respect.
(the lower you bow, shows more respect)
The big fupa with Obama is: You don't shake hands and bow at the same time.
Also, you bow once.... not act like a bubble head bouncing around.
I felt embarrised. It isn't to difficult to learn basic social skills in countries you are going to visit.
Just read the tourist book........ Da!
Fortunatly, the Japanese won't be that upset with Obamas lack of social graces.
They figure we are all barbarians and don't know any better.....
They'll overlook that we have no social graces or the ability to act in a respectable manner.
