Three students marked a milestone recently as they became the first students in Sulphur Springs High School’s health science technology program to earn their Certified Medical Assistant certifications. More than $380,000 in scholarships were announced Monday night for Cumby High School seniors to further their education. The amount was distributed among eight of the 21 class members. In addition to scholarships, numerous academic awards were presented to students in grades six through 12.
